President's Report

What an incredible summer it's been for SMPS Ozarks! In May, we had our virtual InDesign Fundamentals with Julie Shaffer, where members picked up tips to sharpen their skills and work smarter when creating proposals, marketing materials, or internal documents. Then, in July, Jeff Lavery joined us for Leveraging Boundary Partner Relationships to Drive PR+BD Results, sharing how to communicate impact in a way that engages public and elected officials while generating great PR. As my time as Chapter President comes to a close, I’m so grateful for the chance to lead this amazing group over the past year. We even brought home two awards—one for our strong financial standing and another for new member growth! Starting next month, Morgan Lewis will step into the role of Chapter President, and I’m excited to see the energy, ideas, and leadership she’ll bring to SMPS Ozarks. I know our chapter is in great hands!
